Co: is looking for an alchemist. One who uses code, pixels and circuits (rather than sugar and spice or snails and puppy dog tails) to create golden experiences for people and golden growth for our clients. Someone who is happy defining how technology can affect the core business, the culture as well as the actual products and services we help bring to life.

You will be part of a pod looking at solving big problems for clients and often society from the lens of technology and the how people will experience it, always alongside strategy, content, community and threaded together by a collaborator. Along with this lovely team you get to work on a daily basis with some of the best people in the world from a wide range of co:conspirators making every day a new challenge and a new learning experience.

Who we are looking for:
You think in systems. You have as many projects that you have built for yourself as for clients. You can impress people at parties with how many ‘languages’ you know. You love to take really complex technologies and concepts and translate them into simple language for everyone to understand and build upon. You really, really, really love to work with other people. You know creating big impactful things requires time and different approaches so you are happy rolling up your sleeves in both powerpoint and an IDE.

The types of things you will be doing:
In your role you will be looking at the macro trends in technology alongside the things that are bubbling up on the periphery and finding new ways that those can be leveraged to create new experiences and businesses.

You will be strategically advising clients on how technology can be valuable and grow their business and create new opportunities to connect with customers.

You will be creating technology architectures which will form
the basis of change.

You will be defining new experiences which will make people’s lives better, and that they will truly enjoy using.

You will be working with some of the best technology firms in the world, planning and scoping the design and implementation of new platforms and services.

You will be solving intricate problems between code, hardware, user needs and business needs.

You will be constantly playing with code and bringing ideas to life in tangible forms with prototypes and experiments.

You will be inventing new technologies which will feed back into
this cycle.

Co:collective is a growth partner. We invent and reinvent brands and businesses. We’re a team of strategic, social, techy, creative thinkers and doers who have developed a new, cross-discipline collaboration model to help companies be successful in today’s world.

At the core of the co: model is the co:llaborator, ensuring that collaboration is happening smoothly.  Co:llaborators work with a multi-discipline pod that is comprised of leads from strategy, technology, content, community and additional outside experts, known as co:conspirators. (We don’t label anyone as a creative, since that’s what we’re all expected to be).

The co:llaborator is a client manager, project director and the ultimate
orchestrator of the universe, if you ask us.  So, we’re looking for amazing people that have a business, strategic, and a get-‘er-done mindset to create the perfect balance of external poise and trust when working with clients, as well as the rigor to keep projects on track with internal pods and co:conspirators.

This is more than just a fancy name for an account person, however, you could have been an account person in another life. Maybe you were an account person who thought you’d make a good producer. Or maybe you’ve been in a few different roles in your life—like a program director or a project manager or even a strategist. We like smart mutts.

Integral professional attributes for being a successful co:llaborator at co: are dedication, excellent negotiating skills (both fiscally and personality), thriving when faced with new challenges, adaptability to change throughout a process, forward-thinking understanding of business and technology, extremely proactive and organized strategic problem solving, and the ability to embrace the honey badger (figuratively and literally).

We’re a small place, so we all wear a lot of hats. Here are some job functions you’ll be expected to do, so ideally you have experience doing a bunch of them:

  • Running a project from start to finish, starting with strategy
    through production and launch
  • Proposal writing or running the process for proposals
  • Creating statements of work
  • Budget creation, tracking, management and reporting
  • Assessing the overall needs for a project from understanding client needs
from both a strategic and operational standpoint, including desired deadlines
and expectations and creating a plan to make it happen
  • Working directly with internal and external teams including
clients, strategy, creative, technology and production
  • Anticipating and managing resourcing needs (freelancers, partners)
  • Prioritizing and managing scheduling for both internal and external
    client reviews and meetings
  • Gaining approvals from clients
  • Keeping internal teams and external partners up to date on
projects by creating and distributing status reports, holding
    status meetings as necessary
  • Preparing and organizing client presentations including all
resourcing and production needs for given meetings
  • Getting used to other leaders in the pod introducing you as the
Chief Officer of Getting Shit Done
